Named after the stone that’s also known as the ultimate ‘Dream Stone’, Blue Jade, like its namesake is a place of peace and serenity. And, like the stone it’s named for, Blue Jade aims to calm and restore with its tranquil setting within the five-star beachfront hotel, The Ritz-Carlton. Whether you’re a guest at this beautiful hotel that boasts a waterfront location and access to a private beach, or just stopping by to sample the exquisite cuisine on offer at one of its many restaurants, you’ll be greeted with the friendliest of welcomes.
Blue Jade specialises in authentic pan-Asian cuisine, particularly dishes from Chef Ta Van’s native Vietnam, though also those of Thailand, Singapore, Japan and China. The menu is designed to take guests on an enchanting journey through the East, highlighting the diversity of flavours and aromas by combining the authentic tastes from these South East Asian countries via a contemporary approach.
On Blue Jade’s a la carte menu, you’ll find the likes of sushi, cold plates and salad, hot appetisers and soups, and a selection of dim sum. There are also a number of signature dishes such as lemongrass chicken and Thai prawn curry. All dishes are made using the freshest ingredients by the skilled team of chefs, so no matter what you choose, it’s certain to be delicious.
As well as the a la carte menu, Blue Jade also features a number of special weekly themed meals, including Dim Sumptuous on Wednesdays and Sushi-licious on Sundays. Dim Sumptuous showcases Cantonese dim sum favourites as well as Asian cocktails and beers, while Sushi-licious involves an exciting array of sushi, sashimi and selected beverages. Each offers superb value and proves popular week in, week out. Lastly, there is a selection of desserts that shouldn’t be missed, in particular roasted banana with passion fruit sauce and coconut ice cream, and mango with sticky rice.
