Dubai is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, and Dukes The Palm succeeds in reflecting that luxury and diversity in its fantastic facilities.
Guests visiting for business or pleasure will be delighted with what Dues The Palm has to offer, from gorgeous views of the city’s skyline to luxe swimming facilities and a whole host of bars and restaurants. Great British Restaurant in particular is a glamorous spot in which to enjoy traditional British fare, prepared by skilful and passionate chefs.
Great British Restaurant’s interiors recall the high-ceilinged restaurants of smart London establishments, with shiny black and white tiled floors, pillars, drapery, blue leather banquettes and arty photos on the walls. It’s a relaxed, yet stylish setting in which to enjoy refined British food with family, friends or business associates any night of the week.
The restaurant is open for lunch Saturday to Thursday, but it’s the themed dinners that are the real draw here. The week starts with Italian night on Mondays, the Tuesday is Asian night, Wednesday is International night, Thursday is BBQ night, Saturday is Arabic theme night and Sundays sees traditional British fare served up in the dining room.
Those dining a la carte can look forward to a range of classic British dishes, including starters such as Caesar salad, leek and potato soup, smoked salmon, and prawn cocktail. Mains take the form of Welsh rarebit, traditional English chicken pie, fish and chips, and a beef or chicken burger. Desserts, should you have room, include favourites such as Eton mess, Bakewell tart, carrot cake, lemon tart, and blueberry cheesecake.
