Harry’s Bar and Restaurant is one of six dining outlets located in the Crowne Plaza in Dubai, allowing it a central city location that makes it ideal for grabbing a quick bite to eat at during the day while you’re out and about exploring the surrounding areas.
Interiors are a clashing mix of neutrals and bright red, with a panelled wood ceiling and high bar stools affirming its place in the hotel’s lineup as the resident sports bar. Staying true to form there are various pieces of paraphernalia strung up on the walls, including baseball and crickets bats and a traditional darts board. In one corner there’s a pool table too, to keep guests entertained while they enjoy drinks or wait for their meal to be served. Here all major sports matched are screened, so you won’t have to miss your favourite team play if you’re away from home on holiday or work.
The setup is relaxed and casual, creating a lively atmosphere that lends itself well to groups. There is table service for much of the space, but you’re also welcome to order at the bar. Enjoy a few snacks with a beer or two, or go all in and indulge in a three course meal. Starters might see you feast on crispy fried chicken skin with an asian dip or chunky prawn tacos that are dressed with creamy avocado and crunchy lettuce. Mains are primarily focused around burgers, with patties made from premium fresh beef, cooked to order. Choose between a classic hamburger, a bacon cheeseburger or something a little different - the crispy chicken sandwich, say. This combination sees a crispy chicken breast stuffed with melted Swiss cheese and mushrooms, topped with tomato, lettuce and a secret sauce. All burgers come with fries, and if you’re after something without bread there are a few alternative menu items for mains, with steak, salads and fried chicken all on the lineup. Pudding sees all-American crowd-pleasers like cheesecake and sundaes on offer.
