Would you believe us if we told you the name of this sports bar was invented as a way to combine the monikers of New Zealand, South Africa and Australia? Well, it was. This interesting name pays homage to three great sporting nations to set the tone for a bar that shows games back to back on large screens throughout the day.
As you might expect, the interiors have a clubby feel to them, with wooden panelled walls and memorabilia-style artworks adorning any space left bare of televisions. Tables are bar height which lend a casual feel, while simple place settings allow for a relaxed vibe that is perfect for a sports bar.
The menu also pays homage to the tri-nations through its melange of dishes that represent each country. To begin feast on sharing snack-style food like hot wings and pulled pork poutine. If you’re in the market for something a little healthier there is also a selection of salads which tick off tried and tested favourites like Caesars as well as more unusual serves such as grilled steak with mixed leaves, bacon and blue cheese, and a virtuous-sounding kale creation. For mains at lunchtime there are burgers and sandwiches while dinner favourites throw up things like a rich beef pie made with red wine, sausage and mash and toad in the hole. Ribs, steaks and schnitzel complete the line-up of hearty pub grub-style dining, while a range of sides allow guests to mix and match for their perfect serve.
Desserts at Nezesaussi Grill Downtown Dubai are a highlight too – think chocolate mousse, sticky toffee pudding and apple upside down cake.
Little guests are welcomed, with children up to the age of five offered complimentary dining and older guests – up to 11 – afforded 50% of the standard menu prices. The dress code is casual, which means there are no real restrictions, allowing you to feel right at home.
