NoHo Bar & Grill offers diners a taste of New York, without ever having to leave Ras Al Khaimah. Located within the luxurious InterContinental Mina Al Arab RAK, the restaurant is ideal for relaxed family dining in the day and more lively social dining in the evenings. With regular live entertainment, alongside in-house barrel-aged cocktails, craft beer pairings, carefully selected global wines and premium steaks, NoHo has everything you need for an unforgettable meal overlooking the Persian Gulf. Diners can opt to sit outside to watch the sunset, before moving inside as the atmosphere livens up.
The signature cocktails here are a must, each themed on a different element of New York. The 'north of Houston' (which is where the restaurant gets its name) is a punchy blend of premium gin, Aperol, umeshu and homemade plum bitters, lightly smoked. The southside, meanwhile, is a simpler mix of gin or vodka mint and a splash of lime, perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun. If you're in the mood for something barrel-aged, then be sure to try the Negroni. After all, you can't beat a classic. Elsewhere you'll find a great selection of wines by the glass, unusual craft beers and ales and individual spirits to pursue.
This being an American-style restaurant, diners can kick things off with the house beef sliders, featuring brie, guac and onion jam, or go a little fancier with the truffle and parmesan fries, topped with fresh chives. From there, don't miss the house steak tartare, laced with shallots and garlic, served with toasted sourdough. Alternatively, try the lobster roll, featuring butter-poached lobster tail, brioche roll and homemade crisps. The main courses, however, are the real showstoppers. Taking centre stage is an 800-1000g dry-aged tomahawk, although more affordable steaks and seafood dishes are also available. Finish off with an authentic American dessert like key lime pie.
