North 28 is inspired by one of Dubai’s major family attractions and visitor destinations, Ski Dubai, an indoor ski resort in which visitors can hit the slopes without having to travel to the peaks of France or Italy, for example. With a menu created with comfort in mind, the food at this cosy restaurant is designed to warm your cockles after a day at the slopes. Whether you’re in the mood for something indulgent, adventurous or healthy, North 28 offers a selection of warming dishes that are sure to please.
The all-day menus includes options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fuel up before a day of skiing with something hearty, such as smoked haddock and eggs served with hollandaise and sweet potato, or steak and eggs served with asparagus and chimichurri. There are plenty of lighter options, too, such as a fruity acai bowl or blueberry pancakes.
For lunch, you might like to opt for soup or salad. Look out for warming bowls such as lentil, beef and bacon, or yellow lentil and cumin, or opt for a fresh salad including charcoal grilled broccolini with toasted almonds, roasted sweet potato and pearl barley grains tossed in a balsamic dressing.
Main courses range from pasta to burgers, steaks and classic pub dishes. Discover plenty of carby and comforting favourites, such as truffle penne alfredo, or opt for a chargrilled steak served with Café de Paris butter, grilled cherry vine tomatoes and your choice of triple-cooked potatoes, mashed potatoes, French fries or sweet potato fries.
Do note that there is a child-friendly menu as well that offers a generous selection of dishes, including fish and chips, mac ‘n’ cheese and tomato spaghetti.
Wash it all down with a host of hot and cold drinks including teas, coffees and hot chocolate, smoothies, frappes, milkshakes and juices.
