Off the wall is set within Hotel Indigo, and offers a dark and moody space, to hang out with friends, enjoy a drink, and tuck into a selection of pan asian plates. It works as an intimate restaurant until the later part of the evening, when the Dj comes out and the music is turned up ready to fill up the dancefloor. Outside, you can make the most of the terrace that is filled with comfortable sofas, mood lighting, and palm trees along the edge of the space. With views of the city skyline in the background, the buildings light up the sky and create the perfect setting to soak up Dubai’s electric atmosphere.
If you’re coming along for dinner, you’ll find a menu split between small plates, fried stuff and sweet things. Small plates include options from across asian cuisines, like salmon yuzu ceviche with avocado, coriander and mango, Indonesian chicken satay with pickled cucumber, and BBQ chicken Bao served with chilli oil. For fried stuff, there are fried chicken money bags with sweet chilli sauce that are crispy dumplings hailing from Thailand, spiced fried calamari with seaweed and yuzu aioli and truffle fries with truffle aioli for that decadent hit. The dessert side of things offers a chocolate brownie dome, with a salted caramel chocolate brownie, chocolate soil, chocolate pearls and an assortment of berries, a charcoal salted egg custard bun and a mango or vegan lychee mochi ice cream.
Off The Wall take cocktails very seriously, with a range of signatures like ‘blanc canvas’ made of coconut cream, gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon, soda and edible paint drops, and some modern classics such as the espresso martini that are designed to both wake you up and give a bit of a buzz. Whilst it’s always a good time to head down to this venue, we’d particularly recommended getting down for happy hour between 6-9PM, for a discounted price on signature cocktails and selected wines and beers.
