The Dubai Marina is one of Risen Café’s five locations. This artisan bakery has a strong focus on sustainability and takes pride in its locally sourced ingredients. Other locations include Jumeirah Village Circle, Business Bay, Barsha Heights and Palm Jumeirah.
There is a breakfast, brunch and all-day menu that feature a variety of classic confectionaries, pastries and café-style food. Breads, such as sourdough, rye, brioche, and many more, are made using traditional methods and are baked on site daily.
This café aims to serve enthusiastic coffee lovers, offering locally roasted Arabic and International coffee blends. There is also a seemingly endless selection of teas and unique infusions.
Fusing local ingredients with international flavours, the menu is a blend of classic comfort treats that have been adapted to showcase a modern twist. Risen offers a multitude of unique treats, including their round and flaky stuffed croissants. Fillings can include scrambled eggs, caramelised onion, avocado, hollandaise sauce and red chilli. Or, for the sweet-toothed customer, hazelnut, almond praline custard filled and torched croissant.
Not only are these baked specials available in-store, but they are also available to purchase as part of Risen’s grab-and-go meals; this includes homemade pastries, cakes, spreads and bread. The bakery creates beautifully artistic cakes that are 1kg in size and can serve between eight to ten people. These cakes have been known to range from the berry-covered cheesecake to the delicious coffee and nut butter cake.
The bakery goes above and beyond to cater for your every need, offering granola bowls, sandwiches with crisps and poached eggs on waffles with fresh summer salad and avocado. The dishes are presented beautifully, and the ingredients are fresh and responsibly sourced.
