The brainchild of Michelin-starred Italian chef Marco Garfagnini, Rockfish is a seafood restaurant which can be found at the Jumeirah Al Naseem resort. Although Garfagnini oversees all of the restaurants found within the resort, Rockfish is perhaps the one most naturally aligned to his interests.
The menu here takes its inspiration from the coastal cuisine of Tuscany, kicking off with a crudo section that sees the likes of yellow fin tuna paired with black truffle shavings and sea bass served in a blend of tomato and vinegar. Main courses meanwhile, include the likes of line-caught seabass with artichoke and a seafood jus, and a decadent lobster risotto. There are dishes from the grill too, including free-range baby chicken and a grilled seafood platter to share between two.
Desserts are just as tempting as the main courses, with options to choose from including caramelised apple tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a selection of sorbets and ice cream with flavours such as mango and banana.
It’s perhaps no surprise that a seafood-led restaurant like Rockfish has settled in at a beachfront destination, with the al fresco bar and seating areas being the perfect spot for lunch in the sunshine. Rockfish is also a great place to catch those famous Dubai sunsets, making it a good venue for date night too.
