A meal at The Farm is set in an oasis of calm that transports you from the busy Dubai lifestyle. Escape the heat and step into a botanical haven as you enjoy wholesome food with a waterside backdrop. Founded in 2012 in Al Barari, the concept is for the venue to be more than just a venue; it is a hub for leisure, socialising, health, and entertainment with its selection of events and workshops.
Dining at the restaurant will take you on a gastronomic journey around the world with its menu inspired by countries from Thailand, to India and the Mediterranean. Using fine produce from reputable suppliers that are mainly organic, the team create a high-quality, relaxed dining experience.
At breakfast, you can watch the sunrise over the water while sipping on fresh organic juices or wellness blends. Taking inspiration from its name, the menu features farm produce in its selection of omelettes, benedicts and speciality plates.
Simple starters of chips and salsa are listed alongside delicate Vietnamese summer rolls, filled with fresh, colourful vegetables and prawns. First up on your feast around the world is New Zealand with lemon and herb Tegel chicken, before crossing the world to the UK for old school fish and chips. Next, pop to Spain for some Paella and then hop over to Italy for some linguine bolognese. Braised Moroccan lamb shank and a traditional mixed grill will give diners a taste of all the best spices and oriental flavours. Finally, we stop in Asia with the menu's Asian corner, featuring traditional dishes from Thailand, India and China.
Presentation is just as important as flavour with bright colours, delicate garnishes and precision crucial to every plate. One highlight has to be the coque en chocolat - a sphere crafted out of chocolate and stuffed with crumble, ice cream and fruit; all topped off with a drizzle of melted chocolate.
