Tulum restaurant serves up authentic Mexican cuisine in the biggest shopping centre in the world, the Dubai Mall. The menu stays as true to traditional recipes as possible, using time-honoured cooking techniques with the freshest ingredients.
There are three different menus depending on the time of your booking. For breakfast, expect the likes of chicken crepes, avocado on toast, fried eggs with red and green sauce, as well as French toast and sweet breads. There's also many different styles of quesadillas, omelettes and Mexican-style eggs.
Across lunch and dinner, diners are invited to feast upon a huge variety of Mexican-style foods from pulpo tostadas and chicharron de ribeye, to fish fillet with Pipian sauce. Start off with something like Mexican street style corn, fresh guacamole and baked gratin oysters, before moving onto a main like Maria Sabina ceviche or grilled Guajillo octopus.
Desserts sound delicious too, and some are rather innovative. We like the idea of the choco avocado which mixes a chocolate brownie with an avocado-based topping, and the sweetcorn cake with a grilled corn biscuit, caramel ice cream and rice pudding foam and toffee.
With so much choice, it's understandable if you're finding it hard to narrow down the selection, and for these moments theres the tasting menu. The set menu offers a four-course meal of some of the chef's favourites, so that you can simply take a seat and enjoy. Speaking of which, Tulum organises fabulous live music and events, so keep an eye on the website and Instagram.
