One of seventeen culinary concepts found within the glittering Atlantis The Royal, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal Dubai is surely the leader of the pack when it comes to the hotel's dining destinations. Here you’ll find exquisite world-class cookery and the kinds of interiors that inspire a convivial buzz as guests embark on a restaurant experience like no other.
While there is of course the option to private hire the entire restaurant – should you have the budget to cover such a thing – or book a large, group table, the real showstopper is the private dining room. Here you and your guests can dine in absolutely exclusivity and soak up every little detail of the food, drinks, and service on offer. At the centre of the space you’ll find a tailor-made rosewood and sapele oval dining table, which seats up to twelve guests comfortably. This is surrounded by richly upholstered red velvet chairs which have drawn inspiration from 16th century British Tudor design. If that doesn’t scream special occasion, we don’t know what does.
Once you’ve got all your guests comfortably seated (whether you’ve chosen to treat loved ones or splash out on colleagues and clients) it’s time for the real theatre to begin. The whole menu is a journey through British cuisine dating back to the 1300s. With his signature playful, nearly scientific cookery style, Heston has put his own unique spin on things to present historic recipes through a new, contemporary lens.
Signature dishes include the now famous Meat Fruit which is carefully crafted to look like a mandarin but disguises a centre of rich chicken liver and fois gras parfait. With the initial London outpost being awarded two Michelin stars in 2022, we suspect a similar accolade will follow for the UAE sibling site. A worthy place to host in superior style in the centre of Dubai.
