Armani/Kaf is the first kosher certified dining destination in the United Arab Emirates. The pop-up dinner venue is located on the ground floor of Armani Dubai hotel, where it aims to offer the very best in kosher cuisine, while paying homage to classic flavours from around the world.
The seasonally changing menu offers a selection of internationally inspired kosher dishes, designed to reflect Dubai’s multicultural demographic. As such, diners can expect dishes from Asia and Europe to the Middle East.
Starters and light bites span a large array of appetisers, salads, sushi and sandwiches. Think falafel with tahini sauce, chicken satay, tabbouleh, beef kibbeh and Bolognese arancini to start, while for lunch you can enjoy everything from crunchy salmon sushi rolls to a BBQ beef burger. Main courses include the likes of chicken tajine with cous cous, grilled salmon with courgettes, cherry tomatoes, capers and basil salsa, fettucine pasta and beef bourguignon with mushroom pilaf rice. Do note that there is a kid’s menu available which includes a short selection of favourites – think a mini burger with fries or spaghetti Bolognese – that appeal to younger guests.
On the drinks front, a selection of fruity mocktails includes lychee and raspberry, or a pink colada (coconut, pineapple and strawberry). You can also find fresh juices, soft drinks, teas and coffees, while alcoholic options include a kosher wine list, classic and signature cocktails, beers and spirits.
Although the restaurant is closed for dine-in guests on Fridays and Saturdays, there is a special takeaway menu available for Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath, should guests like to enjoy its food from the comfort of their own private space.
