This global Indian chain has seemingly conquered the world, with restaurants now stationed in the UK, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Qatar. In total, it boasts 14 locations across five countries. This site in Dubai, however, was the first Asha’s ever to open, and is home to the brand’s flagship store. Located in WAFI Mall, it offers a choice of intimate indoor seating and alfresco dining on its beautiful, landscaped terrace, while the menu takes diners on a multi-sensory journey of Northwest Indian cuisine. Expect bold flavours, exquisite presentation, and a bespoke cocktail menu designed to complement the dining experience.
The interiors at Asha’s Dubai offer a rich combination of deep purples and golds to reflect the richness of India’s culture and cuisine. Guests are invited to relax, socialise and dine in pure comfort, with opulent fabrics, subtle mood lighting and signature artwork creating a luxurious backdrop.
Renowned Indian singer and actor Asha Bhosle is the inspiration behind the successful restaurant chain. As such, the food is inspired by her personal journey, from travelling with her father's theatre company as a child to traversing the world as an international entertainer. The menu begins with soups and appetisers, from green pea-stuffed potato cutlets with tangy chickpeas to crispy battered prawns with mango salsa. Elsewhere, a vibrant array of kebabs, curries, biryanis, breads and sides comprise the main menu.
The drinks list is just as exciting as the food, with a huge range of fruity mocktails, indulgent lassis, refreshing flavoured waters and cold pressed juices. Try one of its signature mocktails, the King Alphonso, made with fresh passion fruit, lime and mango, or opt for a creamy strawberry and coconut lassi made with yoghurt and coconut puree.
