Bayshore is the private beach club and restaurant at the InterContinental Abu Dhabi in Al Bateen. This five-star hotel features a range of restaurants, as well as swimming pools, wellness facilities and a spa, and being so close to landmarks like the Sheikh Zayden Mosque and Louvre Museum, it’s no wonder that it’s so popular.
On top of all that, the InterContinental Abu Dhabi has access to a private section of beach and a private beach club - Bayshore - which you’ll find across the marina from the main hotel building. You can’t miss the neat rows of parasols and sun loungers laid across the beach, going right down to the water’s edge. Bayshore restaurant offers light poolside bites and snacks, designed for easy eating between dips in the pool and sunbathing sessions.
The menu is broad and international, and runs all-day from breakfast until dinner. Breakfast bites include freshly baked breakfast pastries, as well as eggs any style served with hash browns, sausage, bacon and mushroom. For the big breakfast fans there’s the Full Monty Breakfast, which includes a bit of everything as well as fresh juice, tea or coffee.
From lunch onwards there’s a choice of starters and salads, as well as refreshing poke bowls. The former includes the likes of heirloom tomato tartine with burrata, roasted butternut salad with ricotta, rocket and pecans, yellowtail tataki with toasted sesame and ginger, and crab cake sliders with guacamole and spiced mango salsa.
Other bites include easy sharers like mini taco plates, mozzarella sticks, nachos and buckets of wings by the dozen or half dozen, as well as more substantial dishes like burgers, Korean chicken baos, stonebaked pizzas and grill dishes like salmon, lobster and beef tenderloin served with roast vegetables.
If you need to cool off with a cold drink, take a look at Bayshore’s signature cocktails, including the Bayshore Mule (vodka, lemon, raspberry, ginger ale) and the Sunset Hurricane (white and dark rum, passion fruit, orange juice and lemon juice).
