Bluthner Hall, located inside Raffles The Palm Dubai hotel, is a palatial lounge that serves indulgent dishes and decadent afternoon tea. Bringing a slice of 17th-century royalty to Dubai’s modern Palm Jumeirah, Bluthner Hall is an opulent eatery that offers a truly unique dining experience.
Bluthner Hall boasts an intricately adorned golden ceiling, hanging from which is a glamorous glass chandelier. Lush red drapes, plush velvet seating, and marble-esque columns create a majestic and lavish atmosphere, and the bespoke and exclusive Bluthner Louis XIV Grand Piano, after which the lobby gets its name, is even more impressive. The terrace, which provides stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, adds to the deluxe vibe.
The menu is no less sumptuous. The a la carte menu offers all-day dining, replete with international flavours and a range of cuisines. From French onion soup, to Maine lobster rolls, to a vegan Impossible Burger, Bluthner Hall caters for all. Breakfast includes luxurious eggs benedict, fresh fruit, and waffles with a seasonal compote, and desserts offer the likes of hand-crafted ice cream, and a curated cheese selection.
But it is the royal afternoon tea that is the star of the show. The extensive tea selection, aboard the unique tea trolley, serves up a variety of flavours from the sustainable Nina’s Marie Antoinette teas, promising a grand experience. Other drinks are also on offer, from specialty coffees like the iced banoffee or the red velvet, to Champagne and wine. Dishes include a rich foie gras mousse sandwich, smoked salmon rillettes, and a sweet meringue with yuzu cream and jelly. This is all accompanied by the resident pianist, who performs classical melodies for guests to enjoy alongside their afternoon tea.
Whatever menu diners choose, there is no doubt that Bluthner Hall offers a special experience. From its grand decor to its opulent food, its sweeping views and its specialty cigars and shisha, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
