True to its name, Bombay Bungalow is decorated in the style of Mumbai’s historic bungalows, complete with nostalgia and a homely atmosphere.
There are many striking aspects to the interior; the vibrant colour palette, empty bird cages, rich carpets, antique counters, chandeliers and lantern display balconies - an ideal location for any Instagram aficionados. The site also has a large outdoor terrace, ideal for people-watching.
The colours, flavours and aromas of India are the clear focus of the menu, with smokier flavours being brought out with the use of wood-fired tandoors. Dishes are fun, interesting and playful, aiming to make Indian cuisine accessible to the melting pot of cultures in Dubai. Bombay Bungalow’s skilled chefs fuse universal ingredients with classic recipes, and dishes range from the traditional (samosa, rogan josh, tandoori chicken, paneer tikka masala, daal) to the experimental.
