About
Gaucho Dubai is located in the centre of the Dubai International Financial Centre, where this reputable brand from the UK has made its mark on the UAE. It gained notoriety for its top quality meat used throughout the menu, and its combination of Argentinian and South American influences. The decor sees various shades of black and gold, from a shimmer gold bar with black bar stools, to black walls with golden artwork. It offers an opportunity to dine in luxurious style, surrounded by contemporary glamour and opulence. The large open space has two levels, large windows that let in plenty of natural light to the room for the daytime, and lights with jazzy light shades come to life during the evening.
Unsurprisingly, the menu consists of a lot of steak, the main thing that this restaurant is famous for. There are many different cuts available, from a super soft fillet to a chunky rib eye, as well as plenty of sides to choose from, be it a portion of chips, or a healthier veg option. Other than this, you’ll see South American influences with options like ceviche and empanadas. Then desserts offer all of the favourites like brownies, ice cream and cheesecake.
The drinks menu includes a variety of cocktails with a mixture of signature and local speciality options. From the signature list, you can expect options like the El Nino, with pampero Blanco rum, Bacardi Coconut, mango, gomme, reconstructed lemon juice and coconut espuma. Then local specialities include options like La Pampa Collins with Sapling vodka, Belsazar Rose, cranberry, reconstructed lemon juice, gomme, Double Dutch cranberry and ginger tonic. Aside from cocktails, there is also a plethora of wines available that are produced in both Argentina and other areas from around the world. Proving it’s more than just big names used, there’s even a smaller scale producer mentioned for the English sparkling section.
