Situated in the grand Jumeirah Emirates Hotel, La Cantine du Faubourg is a chic restaurant that attracts guests from all over the United Arab Emirates who are looking for an elegant spot to eat and party the night away.
La Cantine du Faubourg has been open for well over a decade, and has carved out a great reputation in Dubai and a smart spot for late night revellry. It brings the spirit of Paris' famous fashion avenue - rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré - to Dubai with a plush, opulent space that turns from classy French restaurant in the afternoon and evening to a glitzy bar at night, open until the early hours of the morning. The space was previously a bank, but the magnificent stone building has bloomed into one of Dubai's most exciting venues for after-work drinks, dining and entertainment.
You'll find a number of menus on offer at La Cantine du Faubourg - an a la carte, a business lunch set menu, and a brunch menu, available on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The a la carte is a hefty tome of hot and cold starters, salads, caviar and mains, split into fish, meat, vegetarian and sides. Among the starters you'll find dishes like tomato gazpacho with brunoise vegetables, truffeld croque monsieur and pan-fried foie gras with spiced date chutney, before moving onto mains like grilled octopus with aubergine caviar, beef tartare and truffle and leek risotto. There are plenty of classic desserts too, including creme brulee, profitaroles and tarte au citron.
As well as a restaurant and bar, La Cantine du Faubourg also styles itself as as artistic rendezvous - a multi-sensory experience with regular live music, art displays and more.
