This relaxed sports bar and restaurant finds its home on the fourth floor of the Address hotel in the Dubai Marina. If you are wondering where the name comes from, you might be surprised that it is actually a playful combination of New Zealand, South Africa and Australia. Once you have stepped inside though, the name and theming will make perfect sense.
The room features multiple plasma television screens with one giant screen at the restaurant’s centre which shows sporting events from across the globe. Elsewhere, you will also find two pool tables and a jukebox which you can use to blast out some of your favourite tracks. As you would expect, Nezesaussi Grill has become a popular spot in Dubai for socialising with friends and colleagues.
While the restaurants roots may be in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, its food menu is more of an international affair. It’s a playful selection too, split between ‘kick off starters’, ‘half time mains’ and ‘full time’ desserts. Start your meal with dishes such as a jumbo sized portion of nachos or opt for chicken wings slathered in a spicy peri peri sauce. Hearty mains range from the traditional likes of fish and chips and bangers and mash, to more unconventional options such as mac ‘n’ cheese pie and house smoked ribs glazed with a Jack Daniels sauce.
For dessert, tuck into decadent dishes such as New York cheesecake topped with caramel sauce and served alongside vanilla ice cream, or enjoy a classic sticky toffee pudding. The extensive drinks selection at Nezesaussi Grill encompasses wine, bottled and draught beers, whisky and spirits, while the casual dress code means you don’t have to worry too much about spillages.
Nezesaussi Grill is open Monday through to Saturday, serving lunch and dinner. The restaurant stays open until 2am every night, so is the perfect setting for late-night drinks, or work night outs with your colleagues.
