As part of the Media Rotana in Dubai, Prego’s serves up authentic Italian cuisine in a stylish and comfortable restaurant.
Located just a few minutes from both the beach and the Palm Jumeirah, this centrally located restaurant is the perfect spot for some carby delights after sitting on the beach or exploring everything the city has to offer.
With the open-kitchen making theatre out of all the authentic Italian cooking techniques while you enjoy the likes of beef carpaccio, char grilled octopus, spaghetti carbonara and Ossobuco Milanese – braised veal shanks with Saffron Risotto.
You can also pick from a range of homemade and hand stretched pizzas which have been fired in an authentic pizza oven. Choose from classics like a margherita or go for something a little more exciting like a bresaola e rucola or a Quattro Formaggi with mozzeralla, taleggio and ricotta cheese.
On top of serving up all this incredible and authentic Italian fare, Prego also has a cosy and stylish Enoteca. Have a wine from its extensive wine list specially paired with whichever dish you decide to pick from the main menu. Alternatively head to the Enoteca after your meal for a post-dinner drink before you head back to your room.
When it comes to what to wear to Prego, smart casual is perfectly acceptable, although the restaurant kindly request that you don’t wear shorts. So if you plan on heading from the beach straight to the restaurant, we suggest maybe changing into something a little less beachy before you enter Prego.
As one of five restaurants in the Media Rotana, Prego is a must visit during your stay in Dubai. However if you are stuck for places to visit during the rest of your trip, the international restaurant Channels, Nelson’s British gastro-pub and The Terrace outdoor lounge are also well worth a visit too.
