Roaring Rabbit is a restaurant and bar inspired by British gastropubs, serving traditional pub fare.
Roaring Rabbit, at the Taj Exotica Resort at the Palm, boasts eclectic, dark interiors and a casual, cosy atmosphere. Inspired by British gastropubs, traditional pub food is served, with sports showing on televisions around the restaurant and regular pub quiz nights, an indispensable pub tradition.
Traditional British pub food is served along with some less conventional options. Sharing plates are available, including loaded nachos and a camembert melt with a baguette. The starters are ‘pub grub’ bites, such as sauteed chicken liver, scotch eggs, crispy bacon rashers with a honey chilli dip, and Jersey Royal potatoes with gherkins and a buttermilk dip. A ‘pub sampler’ deal is offered, with any 3 starters for 225 AED.
The main courses available include a variety of sandwiches, including a Ploughman’s steak sandwich, a ham and cheese toasted sandwich, a Yorkshire pudding with gravy, carrots and peas and a bacon sandwich in a soft roll.
There are also pies available, including the classic shepherd’s pie and cheese and onion pie, as well as a changing pie of the day on offer. Other options include fish and chips, BBQ beef ribs, and chicken tikka masala with a camembert naan.
Desserts available include banana split, apple pie, and a sticky chocolate and date pudding with toffee sauce.
There are limited vegetarian options available and no vegan options.
Roaring Rabbit offers a range of signature cocktails, with some less conventional options such as a Blue Cheese Martini and a Roaring Mary cocktail with smoked bacon infused vodka.
A selection of wines and a wide selection of beers on draught and by the bottle are available.
Open from 12pm to 2am daily, Roaring Rabbit is sure to provide a sample of British pub food and culture for its visitors, as well as a taste of home for any Brits in Dubai.
