Scalini Doha at the St Regis Doha is an Italian restaurant serving traditional dishes using fresh, quality ingredients. Part of the well-established Scalini brand, first launched in London in 1988 with branches in Dubai and Riyadh, Scalini Doha describes its food as ‘memorable, traditional and honest – down to earth, and without pretensions’. The restaurant has simple yet nostalgic décor, with exposed brick walls decorated with quirky artwork. There is also an outdoor terrace for diners looking to enjoy classic Italian dishes al fresco. 

Scalini Doha’s menu focuses on freshly sourced and quality ingredients. Dishes on offer include penne pollo e funghi, fettuccine pasta with truffle foam butter and fresh-shaved truffle, and Dover Sole with lemon and butter sauce. Desserts include a three-chocolate parfait and a panna cotta with passionfruit topping. Scalini’s drinks menu features a number of Italian cocktails, including a negroni, a bellini and a Campari spritz, as well as all the classic cocktails you would expect. The bar also has a quite extensive mocktail list, and a range of French and Italian wines. Scalini also offers takeaway and delivery from 6pm to 12am of almost all its menu, for when you’d prefer to eat in.
