It’s well known that Dubai’s restaurant scene relies on ingredients and produce which are sourced from across the globe, but Stock Burger Co is a bar and burger joint that takes provenance particularly seriously.
Stock Burger Co prides itself on sourcing its beef exclusively from farms that it can trust, while all other ingredients are also fastidiously sourced. Stock Burger Co finds itself in a casual dining room, with a bar at its centre and tables lined along the surrounding walls. It has adapted the feel of an American-style diner, with a neon-lit burger sign and food served on trays with paper inserts.
On the menu, you can expect to find a range of stacked burgers, along with sides, desserts and milkshakes. Before you get to the main event though, you can pick from a selection of small plates which you can choose to have by yourself or share. Snack on the likes of fiery chicken wings or a plate of nachos topped with guacamole, jalapenos, salsa and sour cream.
When it comes to the burgers, there are more than 10 to choose from, all of which arrive at the table with a side of crinkle cut fries. You can keep things simple with The Stock Cheeseburger, or you can be more adventurous and try the Camel Burger which is dressed with Arabic-style pickles, tabbouleh and halloumi. There are some more unconventional options too, such as the Nacho Burger and The All-Day Breakfast Burger which is filled with veal bacon, fried egg and grilled tomato.
For those not in the mood for a burger, the restaurant also has a ‘No burger? No problem’ section on its menu which features alternative mains such as a giant prawn skewer or beer-battered fish and chips served with tartare sauce and green pea purée.
If you have any room left after all of that epic feasting, you might as well round it off with one of Stock Burger Co’s decadent desserts. Choose from tempting options such as key lime pie or dark chocolate mousse, and perhaps wash it down with one of the menu’s thick milkshakes – which have the option to be spiked with booze (for the grownups only, of course).
