If you’ve come to Dubai with a view to have a good time, you could do worse than enjoying a few beverages at The Vault, which states its place is to cater to the needs of the elite. The incredible views and sumptuous surrounds definitely feel in keeping with this motto, with the bar finding its home on the 71st and 72nd floors of the hotel’s skyscraper premises.
On hand to indulge your every whim are a talented team of mixologists who will shake or stir your perfect drink for you. Either choose from the main menu or challenge them to make your favourite sip, we’re pretty sure they’ll rise to the challenge. Signature cocktails include the Deposit Box - which is made with Woodford Reserve, Cointreau, orange and Angostura bitters which are aged in an oak barrel together for two weeks with cinnamon sugar - and the Margin Call which is a blend of prosecco, whisky, orange, creme de cassis and vanilla.
We often find such thirsty work requires some energy in the form of bar snacks, and with a short but satisfying line up you shouldn’t be disappointed. Tuck into a baked camembert cheese with truffle honey or share a platter of mixed bruschetta. Elsewhere on the menu you’ll find an international selection of crowd-pleasers, from spicy chicken tikka bites to buffalo wings.
The Vault Bar and Lounge at JW Marriott Marquis is famed for its party nights, with an event put on nearly every night. Join the team for a post-brunch party every Friday from 4pm-8pm, or arrive midweek for ‘Locked In Wednesdays’, which is a ticketed evening that allows guests to enjoy free-flowing drinks and snacks while being entertained by a DJ.
