It should come as no surprise that a restaurant named Celebrities is oozing with glamour and sophistication. Found at the upmarket One & Only Royal Mirage hotel, Celebrities is a formal space which is decked out to look like the French palaces of yesteryear, featuring dramatic architectural elements as well as spectacular views overlooking The Palace Esplanade.
The dining room is truly something to behold, with striking crystal chandeliers, embroidered cushions and plush studded banquettes providing the finishing touches to the elegant atmosphere. Operating under a casual, yet elegant dress code, Celebrities is the place to come for special occasion dining, a restaurant in which to see and be seen.
Celebrities menu is billed as French-inspired international cuisine, which means the à la carte menu is replete with Gallic classics such as seared langoustine with crab jelly and caviar or duck foie gras, alongside the more international likes of homemade spaghetti with prawns and herbs, and Grade-4 Australian Wagyu beef tenderloin.
To round off your meal, you can tuck into tempting desserts such as warm apple tarte with a scoop of honey ice cream, or perhaps a hazelnut dome filled with almond ice cream and chocolate ganache. While drinking in those spectacular views visible from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, you can also sip on a selection of world-class wines which are available by the glass and bottle.
Although Celebrities is best suited to adult diners enjoying date night or a group of friends with something to celebrate, children over the age of eight years old are welcome at the restaurant. Celebrities is the signature restaurant of the One & Only Royal Mirage, but the hotel does have other dining options too – Olives has both indoor and outdoor space and serves a menu inspired by the Mediterranean, The Beach Bar & Grill serves fresh seafood with a side of stunning sea views, and Eauzone offers beachfront dining with an Asian twist.
