One of the trendiest restaurants in Sharjah, Crisol offers sleek design and a contemporary menu of international favourites.
With moody, low lighting, the interiors are a heady mix of deep wood tones, pared back tables and feature lighting that combine to create a wonderful ambiance. Minimalist place settings and lush green plants add pops of additional interest, while banquettes around the larger tables create comfortable areas to sit and spend a few hours.
Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the eclectic menu will provide something to suit. Earlier in the day there are eggs every way you can image. Think crispy chicken Benedict, an omelette brioche or poached eggs on avocado toast. Pastries and pancakes complete the lineup, which can be complimented with fresh juices, teas and coffees.
Later in the day you’ll find small bites, salads, tacos, burgers, sliders, bao, brioche rolls, flatbreads, pasta and a comprehensive menu of mains. The latter of these range from grilled rib eye steaks served with all the sides through to a short rib lasagne that comes presented in a slick, modern way.
Don’t skip dessert if you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is one of the best places in the city to indulge in treats. Fat wedges of carrot cake sit side-by-side with chocolate lava cakes and Japanese cheesecakes. If you prefer dessert in liquid form, there’s also a moreish Oreo milkshake.
For when you’re celebrating a special occasion, the restaurant will gladly make you one of its iconic unique cakes. These range from a banana milkshake creation made with sponge, caramelised fruit, almond and tonka crémeux and a cinnamon flavoured mousse. Elsewhere there’s a ‘pink cloud’ and a Snickers bar creation.
To wash everything down there are all kinds of interesting soft drinks. Favourites include a fresh strawberry mojito that is muddled with lime and mint for a refreshing sip.
