Family is at the heart of the concept at Ibn Albahr. A restaurant owned by fishermen, the menu boasts an array of mezzes and seafood to share with friends and family.
Located directly on the beach, you can enjoy a taste of Lebanese cuisine while soaking up the sun and enjoying the stunning views of the private beach of Palm Jumeirah. Open all day, the restaurant hosts guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a great offering of fresh, Lebanese cuisine.
The menu starts off with the heartwarmers section with two soups on offer, one seafood and one lentil soup spiced with cumin. After a starter of soup, the menu is split into cold and hot mezze plates. On the cold side, diners will find classic dishes like hummus and grilled eggplant with tahini. Taking up most of the hot mezze list is fried or grilled seafood including sardines, octopus, shrimp and squid as Ibn Albahr prides itself on having fine, fresh seafood. If the sharing selection is not tempting enough, then the fresh fish display at the restaurant is sure to catch your eye. The fish is all priced per kilo and you have the choice of how it is cooked (fried, chargrilled, steamed or grilled), and the option to add side dishes like rice and vegetables as well as extra side sauces; allowing diners to create a personalised experience. If you're not a fan of fish, the restaurant has a chicken shish platter available that is served along side french fries.
Between Monday and Thursday, diners will be able to choose the lunch set menu as a dining option which is split into three sections. Guests are available to pick one salad, one appetizer and one main course option that is sure to satisfy your taste for Lebanese food.
