Indya by Vineet, the latest venture of Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia, offers a fresh and modern take on Indian street food. This vibrant Indian restaurant pairs new ingredients with classical cooking styles and provides a unique dining experience for seasoned foodies and newbies alike.
Housed at Le Royal Meridien in the Dubai Marina, Indya by Vineet can cater up to 90 guests and offers a funky and unique atmosphere, clearly a reflection of the fun and experimental menu. Concrete floors and exposed ceilings are contrasted with perky murals adorning the walls, colourful furniture, and geometric patterns. The site also boasts a poolside location and sweeping terrace.
Indya by Vineet’s menu offers fun and unique food while dishes still remain elevated - quality is not sacrificed for accessibility. With over 70 options to choose from, the menu may seem daunting but fortunately it’s divided into three simple sections; earth (vegetarian), land (meat) and sea.
The menu begins with a range of chaat (Indian street food) options, before moving onto main dishes; tandoori cauliflower roast, spicy black pepper jaggery chicken popcorn and the hearty and traditional Aunty Braganza’s prawn stew are some of the options to choose from. Fusion food is also available, such as fish tacos served in a turmeric roti taco. The menu is a smorgasbord of eclectic and vibrant dishes, food that feels familiar yet fresh. Note that servings often come in sharing portions.
Desserts feature vibrant and experimental dishes; rose tres leches with rosewater cream, pureple carrot chocolate samosa, and chocolate golgappas with rum rabdi.
Beer and wine options are fairly limited, but the drinks menu makes up for this with its array of sensational signature cocktails.
