Madeleine et Marcel was set up to celebrate the true magic of French patisseries. The bakery uses high-quality ingredients and detailed artistry in an ingenious way to bring its passion for pastries and sweet treats to life. This café was bought to you by the team behind La Cantine and Madeleine et Marcel upholds the same joie de vivre attitude and mission to create an exceptional culinary experience. The pastries are prepared fresh every morning and are available to purchase in store, or by click and collect and can even be delivered to your door.
There is an extensive range of exquisite-looking pastries and creations. The individual pastries section showcases items such as the Albertine, which is streusel with caramel Chantilly, hazelnut biscuit and milk chocolate icing, or the Ines, composed of fresh strawberries, strawberry compote, vanilla cake and vanilla cream with marzipan. Other patisserie categories include Entremets, which is a selection of cakes, such as the Marie, a sesame pecan madeleine with vanilla streusel and vanilla cream, that serves six people. The Gateaux de Voyage section of the menu is made up of rectangular cakes designed to share, usually served as part of an afternoon tea spread. Madeleine et Marcel’s menu offers cakes that are both large and small, such as including a teddy bear-shaped cake, titled Gilbert.
The bakery doesn't just showcase patisserie treats, there is also a selection of house chocolate and sweet treats available to purchase, including three caramel-filled marshmallows, coated in different types of chocolate, shaped into an ice-lolly figure and presented in a box.
The bakery can cater for tailor-made corporate options that can be adjusted to suit your individual needs. Both savoury and sweet mouthfuls of goodness are available to customise for whatever occasion. Madeleine et Marcel can also make its products available at branded outlets and temporary sites for one-off events, with a fully stocked and wide range of artistically fabulous products.
