The Royal Tearoom is a sophisticated all-day tearoom, built at Atlantis The Royal in collaboration with celebrated French pastry chef Christophe Devoille. Devoille was born in Alsace, and has spent a career at the very pinnacle of patisserie, working at the Plaza Athenee in Paris, then spending a decade supervising pastries for Alain Ducasse in his 28 restaurants in France and in the likes of Monaco, Las Vegas, Tokyo and Hong Kong. After stints in Macau and London, Devoille moved to Dubai in 2019 to take over the patisserie at Atlantis The Royal.
The Royal Tearoom is a light, bright, airy space, offering all-day light snacks, refreshments and an afternoon tea, as well as a wide range of elaborate patisserie creations. Devoille offers a range of 16 incredible, delicate patisserie creations at The Royal Tearoom, and those who want to sit down and enjoy luxury service, fine teas and Champagnes too can choose between the Signature Afternoon Tea or Emirati Afternoon Tea - the former offers a selection of savouries and pastries, whilst the latter focuses on Arabic homemade sweets.
Devoille’s creations are made using some of the finest, rarest ingredients from around the world, sourced personally by the chef. The Royal Tearoom also focuses on local produce and ingredients, from local honey to incredible local dates.
